In the heart of the Mátra Mountains, in a fabulous natural setting, in the forest of several hectares, you will find the Mátraháza Academic Scientist Resort. It is only 500 metres from the conference venue, about 8 minutes walk away.
We kindly inform our valued guests that the hotel reception is open only until 18:00. Therefore, we kindly ask you to check in and collect your room key before this time.
If you are unable to arrive before 18:00, please notify us no later than one day prior to your arrival by sending an email to [email protected].

Approach:
By car: from Budapest: M3 motorway in the direction of Miskolc to exit number 70 (Gyöngyös – Nyugat), then take road 24 through Gyöngyös to Mátraháza.
By bus: From Budapest – Stadionok bus station there are several daily direct connections to Gyöngyös-Mátraháza. The average journey time is 1 hour 50 minutes, with a recommended stop at Mátraháza-Üdülők. The resort building is located about 200 metres from the stop, next to road 24.
