Young Researchers’ Oral and Poster Presentation Competition for PhD students and Phd Candidates

As in previous traditions, we will organise  the Young Researchers’ Oral and Poster Presentation Competition in 2026 which will take place during the HUPHAR 2026 – International Conference of Pharmacology, Drug Research and Development, held between 3–5 June, for those participants who have not yet obtained a PhD degree or are currently pursuing their PhD studies.

There will be no restrictions on the topics of the presentations.

Application criteria;

1, The applicant does not yet hold a PhD degree or is currently enrolled in a PhD program.

2, Registration for the conference via the conference online registration interface.

3, Upload an abstract (oral or poster) in English on the online registration site.

Categories:

Oral presentations of the Young Researchers’ Competition: based on the abstracts submitted, the Scientific Committee will select the participants of the section who will present their results in a 10+5 minute presentation. The speakers selected by the Scientific Committee will be notified by email. The presentations will be evaluated according to the opinion of the jury, the main prize being 150.000 HUF donated by HUPHAR.
Presentations not included in the oral session may be presented as posters, if the applicants agree.

Young Researchers’ Competition poster presentations: participants will present their work to the professional jury in 3-3 minutes during the session, the main prize is also 150.000 HUF.

Application procedure:

Abstract submission is available after registration under the “Abstracts” menu in the online registration system
Each registered participant have the opportunity to submit multiple abstracts.

When submitting an abstract, please:

• indicate whether you are applying for an oral or a poster presentation,

• provide the title of your presentation,

• select the most appropriate topic from the drop-down menu,

• then upload the abstract file, the format requirements and a sample abstract can be downloaded from HERE (please upload the file in Microsoft Word format with the extension .doc or .docx),
• provide the authors’ information, please indicate whether or not you wish to participate in the Young Researchers’ Oral and Poster Presentation Competition.

Please encourage your young colleagues to actively participate in the HUPHAR2026 Conference and submit their abstract to the Young Researchers’ Oral and Poster Presentation Competition!
