The joint conference of the MFT, the Hungarian Society of Physiology and the Microcirculation Society (FAMÉ) was held in Mátraháza, Hungary, between 7-9 June 2023, with the participation of more than 300 participants. At the event, the participants could listen to dozens of high-quality professional presentations, and the 2023 Issekutz Prize and the Knoll-Szolcsányi Prize were awarded to Prof. Dr. Balázs Lendvai and Katalin Monostory, respectively. The best oral presentation award was given to Vera Tarjányi (University of Debrecen) and the best poster presentation award to András Sebestyén Tóth (Semmelweis University).
